Five-degree-of-freedom alignment stages for a mirror; part of a larger assembly I designed and built. The mirror is 24 mm diameter. From the top: a flexure yaw stage; below that, an XY dovetail stage, an off-the-shelf goniometer, and a spring-loaded, non-pivoting Z stage. The anti-pivot mechanism in the Z stage consists of sized-to-fit gauge pins and flexure-sprung "vee's" that ride on the pins. All stages are lockable and were oriented relative to the optical system for a more intuitive alignment experience. These are part of a system of which the client has requested additional units.
